Shagya colt Djacar Shagya colt Djacar Shagya colts Dartan and Djacar, both by Daru Shagya colts Dartan and Djacar Shagya colts Dartan and Djacar
July 2005:
Djacar is now 1 year old, and looking much more like a young horse, rather than like a foal.
He is growing up, my "little boy"
He is still quite dark, though he is slowly turning grey. Here he is with his body and half brother, Dartan by Daru of Söbo's Tandarra by Radautz Here it clearly shows that he is turning grey, whereas Dartan will stay bay, as both his parents are bay too. They are really enjoying life together, and have become real good friends over the past few months.

21.08.05: He still has the same wonderful head, and I do think, he recognized me, as I visited Louise & Jesper He is also still a very friendly colt, though Louise tells me that he is slowly getting more "stallion like" in his behaviour. He has grown big during the past 4-5 months. Not bad....
Or, what do you think?
He also is very easy to feed, just like his mum, he doesn't need much food....

He really has a nice head... Here he is with Dartan, his best body. As can be seen, Dartan is slightly taller, but both are very correct It was really much to warm to run around, so the ran off, as we tried to get them to move a bit... Dartan is a very nice colt too.
I find them both very promising, and of course I love his colour!
