Djacar by Daru, colt born 1st of July, 2004
I have included a few photos from his last evening at home in his photo album (7-9½ months).
And I hope that Louise will get time to take some photos over the summer, so I will be able to follow his development.
He got the notes: 9987 8
- which cannot be made much better, considering how awful the weather was on that day.
A colt who will become grey like his mother.
He is called Djacar (as in Djardan and Carmen), and he is sound and healthy, with excellent bones, nice shoulder, correct topline and a really nice head... and besides this, he is a naughty little guy, even if he is only two days old.....

2003: Carmen has been covered with the Shagya stallion Daru, beginning of August.
Daru is a German Shagya stallion of the Dahoman line (read the
article on the Dahoman line by Krzysztof Kordalski)
He is by Djardan out of Tura by Dahoman XXXI
He is owned by Gaby & Claudio Conradty, and is leased for
2003 and 2004 to Jesper & Louise Gammelgaard.
Daru has the most wonderful temperament, a good size, he is very athletic with
good movements, and has a very special brown colour, and coloured horses several
generations back in his pedigree.
I expect the combination of him and Carmen to give a horse
with an exceptional temperament, and wonderful, athletic movements.
