| The entrance to the small
forest surrounding the Limestone Caves at Daugbjerg |
The parking area with my
little car parked all alone... Not many people were visiting the caves
on the birthday of the Danish Queen, Margrethe II |
Tora... The couple, whe own
the place have a dog as well! |
Downhill to the caves... |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Yes, both dogs are there, as
can be seen from the number of tails... |
On the way through the
forest |
The house, where the café
is located |
Tables and benches outside
for people having a picnic.
The entrange to the caves is behind the house... |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| The entrance to the caves..
A dark, low opening, which Tora didn't like at all. Don't know, if it
was the smell from there, or it was the darkness, but I had to persuade
him a lot to get him to go with me |
Bats hanging from the
ceiling... Kanzi found them pretty exciting.. Especially, when the flew
around our heads. |
There were other groups
hanging together much larger than this one, but I didn't know how they
would reacht to the flashlight, and to the infrared light from the
camera, so I choose to make pics of this group that wasn't that
big... |
Back outside in the sunshine
again. Think, they didn't mind at all, when we got out of those
"holes" |

 |
 |
| The "factory" at
the Limestone Caves at Mønsted |
The factory again |
The entrance to the center |
The factory from another
angle |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Idyllic small lake, we
passed on our way |
8 m high "hill",
where once a "tower" for defence was located |
Telling more about the
tower, and how the place might have looked, when the farm was still
hidden behind it, at the meadows.. |
Meadows.. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Doggies walking across the
meadows (me too, by the way *S*) |
The hill behind the trees to
the left is the hill, where the tower has been standing |
Back towards the Limestone
Caves. The factory rising upon the hill |
A closer look at the factory |
